Best Friends

One of my best friends from high school, was in town for the week. It was soooo good to catch up and have her see my new place and just spend quality time together. We had brunch, shopped, lounged and ate (of course)! My heart is full after this visit with Natalie.

Happy Mother’s Day!

Lucy and I went for a small hike and then surfing. We enjoyed the rest of the day at my uncle's with grandma and some other family. Happy Mother's Day to all the mamas out there!

A New Hobby

I whipped out my sewing machine and finished some burp cloths I started ages ago. I have several friends having babies in the next couple of months and so it's a perfect time to make some gifts. I made about 20 of them or so over a few days. My lower back was a bit …

Weekend Lessons

Lesson 1: I can road trip with minimal discomfort and I don't need to stop and stretch as much as I expected. Lesson 2: I can carefully walk in the snow and when I slip, I'm strong enough to catch myself so I don't fall and it doesn't hurt more than a couple minutes. Lesson …

Big Week of Milestones

On my last PT session of the week, my PT said I could wean down to only one day for my hip and one day for my shoulder. We joked that we are slowly starting the break up process! I'm completely fine with this type of break up and actually quite stoked. Sorry Jeff! So …
