I graduated water therapy today! I have been dreaming about this day for ten months. The first day I went to water therapy I met a guy that was on his last day of water therapy after his second hip surgery. He had the same surgeries I did and with my same surgeon. He was so lucky to be that far along, I remember thinking and ever since then, I’ve been wanting it to be my turn. Well today was my day! Water therapy has been my favorite during these recoveries, but I’m still so happy to have another milestone completed. I’m so thankful to my incredible water therapists and will miss seeing them each week. Today, she celebrated in my joy, gave me a big hug at the end and we both shared tears over this accomplishment. They have been right by my side each week for multiple months after each surgery and for that I am so grateful.
