Lucy and I made it to Seattle. This was my first time flying alone (minus Miss Lucy Lu) since neck surgery. I can’t thank Alaska Airlines enough for their kindness and help with everything. It all went so smoothly and I didn’t even have to lift a bag. I’m totally over the humility of sitting in a wheelchair. It’s provided so much freedom for me during my recovery; I really don’t know what I would have done without one.

I’ll be taking a week off from the blog to enjoy the family time. My cousin is graduating from nursing school and most of my family will be in Seattle to celebrate. Have a happy, safe, and fun week everyone!
