I have really struggled with living life solely from my house and having to be a friend from afar. It’s not who I am and it’s so hard to only be able to support my friends with distance. I’ve missed out on a lot of activities, hang outs, celebrations, etc. When my friend’s mother baby ritual/ baby shower came around, I HAD to go. I took it easy in preparation to make the hour and a half drive each way and to hang out for the whole ceremony. We ended up hitting unexpected traffic and so the drive took over two hours and I also had my elusive headache, but I made it and that’s all that mattered to me that day! I just really needed to be there for my friend and to help her celebrate her little miracle baby that is on his way any day now. The afternoon was filled with sound meditation, affirmations to the mother and overall just showering her with love and support. It meant the world to me that I could finally be there for her in person! Good luck with the final stages of pregnancy, Crystal. I am so excited to meet baby Noah!
